Best Western Ireland has recognised particular excellence in two of its Dublin properties, as the Irish arm of the group met for its annual hoteliers meeting earlier this month.

Best Western Ashling Hotel – where this year’s meeting was held – was honoured with the 2009 Highest Quality Hotel award, a ‘Best of the Best’ accolade that recognises superior quality throughout the hotel, its services and facilities.

A deserved winner, the newly renovated property has recently completed a £17.4 million improvement programme, which included the construction of 135 new superior bedrooms.

Meanwhile, the Best Western Premier Academy Plaza Hotel, also in Dublin, scooped the Excellence in Outstanding Customer Service award after securing the consistently highest ranking in guest satisfaction, customer feedback and hotel quality in cleanliness and maintenance.
