Venue of the week: Expotel Collection’s The Roof Gardens

Roof gardens, rooftop venue, summer outside venue

If you want to book a glamorous outside event in London but are worried about the lack of space and greenery – just look up.

The Roof Gardens – the city’s unique rooftop venue and the largest roof garden in Europe – has 6,000m2 of gardens right in the heart of Kensington, and a capacity for up to 500.

An oasis of calm above one of London's busiest shopping streets, the gardens are divided into three themes: a Spanish garden, a Tudor garden, and an English woodland

An oasis of calm above one of the area’s busiest shopping streets, the gardens are divided into three themes: a Spanish garden (verdant with palms and vine-covered walkways, based on the Alhambra in Spain), a Tudor garden (richly scented with wisteria, roses, lilies and lavender, and a maze of archways and secret corners), and an English woodland (resplendent with a mature wood and, yes, even a pond with ducks). It's a stunning summer outdoor venue.

The Roof Gardens has launched a special summer garden party package for corporate clients on selected dates in August.

Celebrate a special evening, treat your clients or thank your team with a delicious BBQ, enjoying exclusive use of The Roof Gardens’ indoor space and full run of the stunning themed gardens.

The package includes a Pimm’s cocktail on arrival, half a bottle of wine and a three-course BBQ for each delegate.
