Hotel of the week: Expotel Collection’s The Quay Hotel & Spa

For cool, contemporary luxury and stunning sea views off the coast of North Wales, The Quay Hotel – one of the Expotel Collection’s newest editions – gets our vote.
Meticulously designed, the quayside hotel has a nautical-look, bleached-wood exterior, extensive balconies and al fresco terraces overlooking the water
Meticulously designed, the quayside hotel has a nautical-look, bleached-wood exterior, extensive balconies and al fresco terraces overlooking the water, and a sophisticated interior of champagnes, sage greens and damson purples.
With views of the most magical scenery in North Wales, the hotel is set on the idyllic Conwy Estuary and in easy reach of Snowdonia National Park – making it an ideal incentive retreat for active delegates and team away days.
As well as 74 bedrooms – including business-class rooms, suites and a penthouse – there are four conference rooms. All rooms have Wi-Fi, which is complimentary in the bedrooms.
The MICE facilities include the sea-view Castle Suite, which can be divided into two separate meeting rooms and has a maximum capacity of 240 delegates; the Tegid Suite, which has a maximum capacity of 80, theatre-style; and the Vyrnwy Suite has a maximum capacity of 40, theatre-style. All have built-in screens.
Finally, for relaxation there’s an award-winning restaurant and excellent leisure facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and a spa with seven treatment rooms.
