Expotel to provide complete hotel and travel solution until 2014

Expotel will now provide full travel management solutions adding air, ferry, rail, serviced accommodation and ancillary travel management to its existing hotel accommodation, conference and event bookings service. 

The booking company was awarded ‘all services’ status on the new Buying Solutions Travel Management Services Framework Agreement.  Expotel is the largest hotel provider on the framework and will operate under the ‘all services’ status until 2014.

Defra awarded both 'High Achievement' and 'Best Overall Supplier' honours for 2010 to Expotel - a supplier for ten years.  They praised the booking company’s skilled management of travel during Swine Flu outbreaks, plus their strong environmental credentials and initiatives. Defra also lauded Expotel for helping them save over £1m on accommodation for each of the last three years as well as significant savings on conference expenditure in 2009.

 In the past, Expotel has also received the CallNorthWest award for ‘Best Outsourced Partnership of the Year’ 2009, ‘Contact Centre Manager of the Year’ from CallNorthWest and ‘Employer of the Year’ from Damar Training.
