Red Carnation Hotels scoops three VisitLondon awards
Red Carnation Hotels has dominated the 2010 Visit London Awards, scooping three awards including top spot for Best Small Hotel.
Now in its seventh year, the Awards celebrate the richness and diversity of our capital city, rewarding accommodation providers, attractions, tours, restaurants, events and businesses.
Red Carnation, who runs by the ethos: “no request is too large, no detail too small,” is a family-run boutique hotel collection with six hotels in London. The group was triumphant in two categories:
In the Small Hotel
category, the five-star Egerton House
Hotel in Knightsbridge won Gold in the Small Hotel category, with 41 Hotel, overlooking the
Buckingham Palace Royal Mews, winning Bronze. In the Large Hotel of the Year
category. Red Carnation's multi award-winning five-star flagship hotel, The
Milestone in Kensington, scooped silver.

Egerton, 41 and The Milestone. Our teams, both in London and around the world
at all of our thirteen hotels, work tirelessly to deliver a level of service

received by our guests, and I would therefore like to thank the judges, and
indeed the public, for the votes.”
Judges noted the individual character of each property,
which reflects the local environment, culture and cuisine as well as the prime
location of each hotel.
