Customers vote Expotel their Agent of the Year
Expotel has scooped the Agent of the Year award at the Hotel Booking Agency Awards, held 8th September, seeing off competition from BSI and Conference Care.
Now in their third year, the HBAA Awards recognise excellence and the promotion of best practice in the HBA sector. The awards were presented at host venue, Holiday Inn Stratford on Avon, with five of the awards presented by HBAA Chairman, Stephen Usher.
Mark Bevan, head of Partner Services at Expotel, says:
“We are delighted and the fact that so many of our customers have voted for us makes this award really special. This goes to show that focussing on customer services was a key priority last year and we will continue to make it a priority in 2011. Again, our thanks to all our customers who took the time to register their votes.”
The HBA Assocation is a regulating body, promoting best practice for those involved in the procurement and provision of accommodation, meetings, conferences and events and the interests of its membership.
Stephen Usher, Chairman of the HBAA said:
“The Awards are highly sought after within the Association as they help demonstrate the professionalism and the drive for raising service levels that we advocate as an organisation. The quality and number of applications increase year on year with the benchmark clearly set for 2011. My congratulations go to all of the shortlisted organisations and of course to the winners.”
