Classic British Hotels adds 11 hotels to its portfolio

Classic British Hotels has announced the addition of 11 new hotels to its portfolio of independent hotels in excellent destinations across the UK this year.

Six hotels from the Sonoma Hotel group were added in July – Etrop Grange Country House Hotel, Manchester Airport; Harpenden House Hotel, Hertfordshire; Barns Hotel, Bedford; Maids Head Hotel, Norwich; Hall Garth Hotel Golf & Country Club, County Durham; and Brownsover Hall Hotel, Rugby.

All six properties have undergone extensive refurbishment with several benefiting from having their restaurants relaunched under the auspices of Daniel Galmiche, a Michelin-starred chef.

The other five hotels to have joined the portfolio are Marygreen Manor Hotel, Brentwood; Owston Hall Hotel, Doncaster; Rowton Hall Hotel & Spa, Chester; Stoke By Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa, Colchester; and Tre-ysgawen Hall Country House Hotel & Spa, Anglesey.
