Rezidor announces two new hotels in the UK

The Rezidor Hotel Group has announced two new hotels in the United Kingdom: the 170 room Radisson Blu Hotel, Newcastle and the 172 room Park Inn Bournemouth. Both will welcome the first guests in 2013.

“Our portfolio of Radisson Blu hotels in the UK now comprises 17 properties in all major cities – including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Liverpool, and Edinburgh. This clearly shows how important this home market is for our upper upscale brand,” said Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor.

The Radisson Blu Hotel, Newcastle boasts a central city location on the main Westgate Road thoroughfare and close proximity to the main train station. The Newcastle property has 170 rooms and suites featuring free high-speed internet access. The hotel will also offer a restaurant, bar, 400m2 of conference space, fitness centre and car parking.

The Park Inn Bournemouth, located in the city centre, is equidistant from the beach and the main train station. The property will have a restaurant, bar, gym and meeting rooms, while a highly-visible, hilltop location ensures that upper floor guest rooms will have sea views.

“Our young and dynamic mid-market brand Park Inn by Radisson will further grow in the key UK market. The hotels offer excellent value for money and hassle free stays,” said Kurt.
