Thistle Cardiff renamed The Parcs

Thistle Cardiff is launching the re-opening of one of the most historic buildings as ‘The Parc Hotel' in May 2008

The Parc Hotel is superbly located in the heart of the city close to Cardiff Castle and the main shopping area, the hotel will receive a £15million investment which will see the 138 bed hotel fully restored to Victorian splendour with contemporary style and comfort, superb facilities and first class service.

The Parc will also create in the region of 120 jobs.

The Victorian hotel built in 1883 will open its doors under the new Thistle brand identity and will offer a stylish restaurant aspiring to win an AA three rosette award plus the widest selection of wine and champagnes in the city, in the exclusive champagne bar.

Business guests will have high speed wireless access throughout and a flexible meetings and events offer. The eight meeting rooms include two large conference facilities that accommodate 300 people theatre-style, all equipped with the latest presentation equipment. A dedicated support team will be on hand to ensure meeting and events run smoothly.
