Star-rating range: Sofitel five-star, Novotel are four-star contemporary hotels, Mercure are three- to four-star individual hotels, Ibis are budget hotels and Etap are low cost hotels.
MICE facilities: There are around 80 major MICE properties in key UK locations within the Sofitel, Novotel and Mercure brands.
Latest UK developments: In the UK, the Novotel Liverpool Centre will open in October, while the Mercure Southgate Hotel in Exeter, the Novotel London Tower Bridge and the Novotel Birmingham Centre have recently undergone refurbishment.
