Number of properties: Hilton has more than 3,300 hotels in 77 countries, including 176 in Europe, with 57 more in the pipeline.
Locations: There are 79 hotels in central locations around the UK and Ireland, of which 20 are in London. Most of them are branded Hilton, although there are five Doubletree by Hiltons, two Conrads, two Walfdorf Astorias, and one each of Hampton by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn.
Star-rating range: Waldorf Astoria Collection and Conrad are luxury branded; Hilton and Doubletree by Hilton are full service; Hilton Garden Inn is a mid-market brand; Hampton by Hilton is economy.
MICE facilities: Hilton has an excellent range of MICE facilities, with flagship properties such as the Hilton London Metropole and the Hilton Birmingham Metropole being able to accommodate 3,000 and 2,000 delegates respectively.
Latest UK developments: Three Doubletree by Hilton hotels are opening in Dunblane Hydro (Scotland), Milton Keynes and Bristol South this year.
